What makes these stand out is the hexylresorcinol, which acts as a local anesthetic to numb the pain quickly, making it much easier to swallow, and also has antiseptic properties to help fight off any germs that might be contributing to the irritation. It's a dual-action approach that gives you relief right where you need it most. To use them effectively, just let one lozenge slowly dissolve in your mouth – no chewing! You can take one every 2 to 3 hours as needed, but please don't exceed 12 lozenges in a 24-hour period. And here's a little tip from me: try to avoid eating or drinking anything for about 15-20 minutes after the lozenge dissolves. This gives the active ingredients enough time to really work their magic and provide longer-lasting relief. Keep these handy, especially during those colder Jordanian winters or when you feel a tickle starting!
