1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of eJO (“the Platform”), including all tools, features, and services provided through our multi‑vendor ecommerce CMS. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform immediately.

4. Compliance With Jordanian Law

- Electronic Transactions Law No. 15 of 2015
- Consumer Protection Law No. 7 of 2017
- Cybercrime Law No. 27 of 2015 (and amendments)

Vendors are responsible for ensuring their products, business practices, and transactions comply with Jordanian legal standards.
5. Use of the Platform
Users agree not to:
- Engage in fraudulent, harmful, or illegal activities.
- Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Platform.
- Misuse intellectual property belonging to others or to eJO.
- Sell prohibited items under Jordanian law (e.g., counterfeit goods, restricted pharmaceuticals, illegal products).
6. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors operating in Jordan must:
- Provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, and availability.
- Fulfill orders promptly and professionally.
- Comply with Jordanian consumer protection rules, including return and refund obligations.
- Ensure all products meet local safety, labeling, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle customer data securely and in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Issue invoices where required by Jordanian tax authorities.
Vendors are solely responsible for their stores, products, and customer interactions.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate information during checkout.
- Use the Platform for legitimate purchases only.
- Respect Vendor policies regarding returns, warranties, and delivery.
8. Payments, Fees, and Taxes
- eJO may charge subscription fees, service fees, or transaction fees depending on your plan.
- Vendors are responsible for any payment gateway fees or third‑party service charges.
- Vendors operating in Jordan must comply with General Sales Tax (GST) requirements where applicable.
- All fees paid to eJO are non‑refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
9. Intellectual Property
All software, branding, content, and materials provided by eJO are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Users may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute Platform content without permission.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code.
Vendors retain ownership of their product content but grant eJO a license to display it on the Platform.
10. Third‑Party Services
The Platform may integrate with third‑party services such as payment gateways, shipping providers, or analytics tools.
We are not responsible for:
- The performance or availability of third‑party services.
- Any issues arising from their use.
Users must comply with third‑party terms where applicable.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Jordanian law:
- eJO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free operation of the Platform.
- Vendors are solely responsible for their products, transactions, and customer service.
Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.
12. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts if:
- These Terms are violated.
- Fraudulent or harmful activity is detected.
- Required payments are not made.
Users may request account deletion at any time.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and protect your data.
We follow reasonable security practices in line with Jordan’s cybercrime and data protection regulations.
14. Amendments to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall be resolved through:
